A 2016 study of self-care practices among college students found that practices such as sleep hygiene and eating habits were positively associated with student engagement, perseverance, and achievement.

    Mental Health

    Self-care for mental health encompasses everything a person does to maintain a healthy relationship with their mind. This includes activities that keep the mind focused and active, such as activities that stimulate the brain.
